Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah known in the music scene as Bisa Kdei has said he hopes to achieve the standards set by legendary Highlife musician, Ebo Taylor.
He said seeing the likes of Ebo Taylor touring the world and releasing timeless songs after being over 80 years old is a benchmark he has set for himself in future.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye, he said “Seeing Ebo Taylor performing all over the world after 80 years of age is so nice, trust me when I see such things I become so inspired and motivated.
“That’s what I’m aiming for in future and that’s the benchmark I’ve set for myself because Highlife is unique and you can never go wrong with it.
For the next years people will continue listening to my songs like Mansa and Brother Brother and others because these songs are timeless music.
“So the path that has been created by the legends like Ebo Taylor that’s what we have to follow because that’s the only way to keep the Highlife alive,” he added.
